She grew up in little rock Arkansas and has ptsd from five years of bullying from fourth to eighth grade at a local private catholic school. She has long worked with and loved animals. She has a degree in animal science and a masters in behavior. She is hand picked by someone who knows her and knows she has an ability you can't train into any detective so she is brought on as a cold case detective along with her service dog who is a border collie and doubles as a police dog.
